Ann began with YogaFitCertification, a yoga fitness system that combines Hatha yoga with fitness movement. Ann has also studied and practiced other forms of yoga including Ashtanga, Restorative, Vinyasa and Kundalini and has a strong sports background.
Ann is also certified to teach Hatha Yoga. Hatha is a system of yoga introduced by Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha is what most people in the Western world associate with the word yoga and is most commonly practiced for mental and physical health.
Ann has managed restaurants for fifteen years, is raising two teenagers and understands the pressures of everyday life. She began Breathing Space Yoga because she recognizes the need for balance and rejuvenation. She has a genuine desire to teach the benefits of yoga and encourages students to go at a pace that is right for them.
Ann is honored to bring in teachers from all over to present master classes and specialized workshops in yoga, nutrition, wellness and holistic healing arts.
